June class schedule
June 6th - Basic tooling class. Our 2 hour hands on tooling class is a great way to improve on, or get started, doing floral carving. Bring your own basic 7 tools or grab what you to get started carving leather.
Class fee is only $35. We will provide a surface to tool on as well as the leather, pattern and instructions. Please RSVP to make sure we have room. Class begins at 10 am and ends around noon.
June 13th - Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild meeting 10-noon. Everyone is welcome to join us as the guild members share their passion of doing leather work. There is no charge to attend. Bring a project for show and tell and be prepared to meet other folks from across the state that love leathercrafting.
June 20th -Basic stamping. In this 2 our hands on class we will teach you how to use your swivel knife, beveler, basket weave and boarder tools. Class time is from 10-noon. The cost of this class is just $35.00.
June 27th- Working man’s chap making with Shawn Williams. In this class Traditions Leathercraft will supply you with all the supplies to build a set of step in chaps made with a 5-6 oz oil tan side and Mr. Williams is going to teach you how to make your own chaps.
The class fee is $200 and you must call or come in to prepay for your reservation. Class space is limited to 10 people.
Class begins at 9:00 am and will go until 3:00.
